Privacy, consent & dignity by design
Memorial streaming requires thoughtful guardrails. Broadercaster Memorial provides multiple visibility modes—public, unlisted, access code, or registration—so you can match family preferences and venue policies.
Use registration when you need to review guest lists or share updates directly. Protect identity and sensitive information by limiting what appears publicly on the event page; consider initials or partial dates when appropriate.
Tributes and guestbook messages can be set to moderated: review submissions before they display. If concerns arise, remove items instantly and record a brief reason internally for audit clarity.
Consent is essential: confirm with the family and venue that streaming is appropriate, and advise participants that recording will be published (or specify a private retention period). Use takedown controls to unpublish or restrict access quickly if circumstances change.
